Paper Accepted by ICSE 2027

Our paper titled “Verdict: Multi-Agent Parallel Modular Verification” by Tengjie Lin, Zhongyi Wang, Haokun Li (Fermat Labs, Huawei Inc.), Jianwei Yin, and Mingshuai Chen has been accepted for presentation at ICSE 2027 – the 49th IEEE/ACM International Conference on Software Engineering, in Dublin, Ireland. This paper presents Verdict – a multi-agent framework that parallelizes modular deductive verification by assigning an agent to each function, synthesizing specifications in parallel under assumed callee contracts, and reconciling the resulting interprocedural conflicts both up and down the call graph. Verdict is, to the best of our knowledge, the first approach that scales to the complete 20,000-line X.509 parser, ruling out nearly all potential runtime errors within hours.
