Paper Accepted by EMSOFT 2026

Our paper titled “Tolerant Barrier Certificates for Stochastic Systems” by Shenghua Feng (ISCAS), Han Su (NII), Hao Wu (ISCAS), Jie An (ISCAS), Mingshuai Chen, and Naijun Zhan (PKU) has been accepted for publication at EMSOFT 2026 – the ACM SIGBED International Conference on Embedded Software at Barcelona, Spain, as part of the IEEE/ACM Embedded Systems Week (ESWEEK). The paper is to be published in IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems (TCAD). This paper presents tolerant barrier certificates as a novel formalism to witness tolerant specifications of stochastic systems, where unsafe behavior is allowed as long as the total unsafe exposure remains below a prescribed budget with high probability.
